As my wise mother always says, "You're not damaged." And she's right. I'm not. I'm blessed. Blessed to have a car that gets flat tires. Blessed to have insurance so I can have annual check-ups. Ultra blessed to have sweet little toddlers that wear those pull ups full of micro absorbent beads. I would clean beads out of laundry every night if it meant I could have little innocent toddlers running around for the rest of my life. I'm not damaged, I'm blessed beyond measure and I thank my Father in Heaven for it everyday.

When it rains, it pours absorbent beads
Monday was one of those -wake up tomorrow and forget it happened-kind of days. Mondays already stink being the first day back to work/back to normal life. Throw in a flat tire, trip to the OB-GYN and its a bad day. To make matters worse, I somehow washed a pull-up with a load of darks. Millions of micro absorbent beads were everywhere. It was a laundry white out. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

With great power comes great responsibility
Ryan received the batman trilogy as a birthday gift and insisted on watching it with the kids. Big mistake. They act like supers 24-7. Eliza runs around the house yelling, "With great power comes great responsibility!" I don't know how she learned that phrase, it's not even from Batman. They refer to each other as Batman and Robin and usually fight over who gets to be whom. Luckily I have a menagerie of fabric. Twenty minutes of cutting for hours of endless fun? I'll take it. Oh to be 2 and 3....
St. Patty's
No green eggs and ham for us this year. "The little green man" left us sugar cookies along with his pot of gold. The kids loved it enough that they expected the same thing the following morning. Good thing we had cookies left! Ryan requested Corned beef and cabbage. Puke. Theres a reason people drink a lot on St. Patty's-so they can consume the traditional corned beef without regurgitating. Corned beef aside, it was a fun day.
